The Rohan Palace, opposite the Strasbourg Cathedral is a magnificent listed building. It houses three of the most important museums in the city: the archaeological museum (Musée Archéologique, basement), the museum of decorative arts (Musée des Arts Décoratifs, ground floor) and the museum of fine arts (Musée des Beaux-arts, first and second floor). The Rohan Palace is a pleasing setting, not only for its exhibitions, but also for its richly ornamented architecture.
